How Shared Savings Are Distributed

The ACO’s shared savings model includes both reinvestment in ACO infrastructure and payments to ACO participants to help coordinate care for Medicare Fee-for-Service beneficiaries.

33% of shared savings will be invested in ACO infrastructure, 33% will go to hospital facilities, and 33% will go to providers.
