Chest Pain Center: In a heart attack, minutes matter

During a heart attack, blocked blood vessels prevent oxygen from getting to the heart. Tissue is lost, and the heart muscle is dying. Minutes matter. That’s why Franciscan St. Margaret Health - Dyer has taken treatment for chest pain to a higher level through its dedicated Chest Pain Center.

The Chest Pain Center’s emergency and cardiac teams are available around-the-clock to stop a heart attack in its tracks with quick diagnosis and intervention, preventing further damage to the heart.
