Do you experience sleep disorders?
Not sleeping can take a toll on your health and well-being. More than 80 sleep disorders can disturb sleep, reducing quality of life and impairing health. Some sleep problems, if left untreated, can be life-threatening. If you are experiencing disturbances in your sleep pattern, are excessively sleepy during the day, are unable to sleep at night, or have symptoms of other sleep-related disorders, you should be evaluated by a physician.
If you experience challenges related to sleep, you might need treatment. And you definitely need sleep – the kind that is restful, therapeutic and necessary for good overall health.
We can help.
The Sleep Disorders Program at Franciscan St. Francis Health’s Mooresville hospital includes a team of doctors and nurses across a spectrum of specialties, all dedicated to providing the excellent care our patients need to regain their quality of life.
Our clinical staff members are either certified or registered respiratory therapists, and nearly all are registered polysomnographic technologists (RPSGT) – having earned the highest certification in the field for staff who assess sleep-related disorders. Our combined staff (clinical staff, physicians and manager) together has 150-plus years of experience in treating sleep-related disorders.
Our physicians and clinical staff are highly trained in the science of sleep and are ready to diagnose and treat your sleep disorder. We can help you return to a pattern of restful, restorative sleep. Additionally, our physicians are either Sleep Fellowship trained and/or board certified in Sleep Medicine.
