Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health – Crawfordsville announces a new general surgeon and a new family medicine physician have joined Athens Medical Group.
Dan Stewart, M.D., a general surgeon, joined Athens Medical Specialists on June 25.
Dr. Stewart received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. He completed a general surgery internship and residency at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Va.; and at Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency in Phoenix, Ariz. He most recently provided surgery services at Methodist Hospital and Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Calif.
Dr. Stewart is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Stewart is now accepting new patients and is seeing patients at Athens Diagnostic and Surgery Center and at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health – Crawfordsville. His office number is (765) 361-1234.
Eugene Tan, M.D.
Eugene Tan, M.D., a family medicine physician, joined Athens Medical Group on July 2.
Dr. Tan received his medical degree from De La Salle University College of Medicine in the Philippines. He completed a family medicine residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Mich.
Dr. Tan is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Tan is now accepting new patients and is seeing patients at Crawfordsville Family Care, 308 W. Market St. in Crawfordsville. His office number is (765) 362-5789.
