Two-day, one-night adult retreat for cancer survivors to be held at Camp Tecumseh
Camp
Bluebird, an adult retreat for cancer survivors, will be held Wednesday, Oct.
24 through Thursday, Oct. 25 at Camp Tecumseh’s Leadership Center. The camp is
sponsored by Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health.
The
two-day, one-night retreat is an informal educational experience in a relaxed
nature-filled environment. Cost is $35 per person. A limited amount of
scholarships are available.
Open
to cancer survivors of Tippecanoe and surrounding counties, a camper candidate
is any adult, 18 years or older, who has had a personal cancer experience.
Newly diagnosed cancer patients are encouraged to learn more about camp, and
plan on attending.
Space
is limited. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
