Nicole Olliges is new lead exercise physiologist for Cardiac Rehabilitation program
Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health – Crawfordsville announces the appointment of Nicole Olliges as lead exercise physiologist for its Cardiac Rehabilitation (Cardiac Rehab) program.
Olliges received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University and her master’s degree in kinesiology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill. She comes to Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health – Crawfordsville from the cardiac rehab program at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health – Crawfordsville’s Cardiac Rehab will open for its first patients on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Cardiac rehab programs provide supervised exercise, nutrition counseling and education for patients who have recently been diagnosed with cardiac problems, often times after heart surgery. To participate in cardiac rehab, patients must have a physician referral.
